Sarah Finch

Sarah qualified with an honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of East London in the UK. With over 10years experience in the Physiotherapy profession she is an experienced Physiotherapist who has worked extensively within private practice, sports teams and in the NHS in England. She also has a degree in Sports Science from the UK.
Experienced in treating both workplace and sporting injuries, Sarah uses a variety of techniques to help clients achieve the best possible results. Sarah undertook a post-graduate qualification in Western Acupuncture and Dry-Needling, and uses these techniques in combination with various other manual therapies, pilates and rehabilitation exercises to help with pain relief for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
A previous International GB gymnast, Sarah is now interested in a variety of sports. She uses her elite sporting background experience and sports science degree to aid physiotherapy assessments and treatments. Sarah has worked with a variety of sports teams including Leeds Rhinos Professional Rugby League Football Club in England, where she dealt with a significant number of neck, back and shoulder injuries. She has worked with Soccer clubs where she has had extensive experience with hamstring strains, ACL and MCL knee injuries, and ankle sprains. Sarah has worked with a significant number of middle to long distance runners and has experience treating sporting injuries, runner's knee, Achilles tendonitis, tight calf's, and other biomechanical problems.
Sarah also supervised an orthopaedic department where she and her team were responsible for the rehabilitation of post-operative orthopaedic patients, including Rotator Cuff repairs, ACL Knee Reconstructions, hip and knee replacements, and various other musculoskeletal surgeries.
Additionally, during her time working in the musculoskeletal departments in the NHS, Sarah encountered many work related and occupational overuse injuries, including postural neck, back and shoulder pain, wrist and hand pain. Sarah undertook a post graduate course in Hand Therapy from the British Association of Hand Therapists to further her knowledge.
