Initial Consultation
45 minutes including thorough physical musculoskeletal assessment, treatment, personalised exercise prescription, education, advice and programme outline.
Follow-up Consultation
30 minutes of ongoing personalised treatment.

Depending on the area being treated, Physiotherapists often require clients to change to fully assess the problem. We have a selection of shorts within the clinic to borrow, but you are more than welcome to bring your own clothes. At mySydneyPhysio when undertaking a biomechanical assessment your Physiotherapist may ask to look at your running/sports shoes to allow comprehensive assessment, so be prepared to make these available on request.
Referrals
You do not need a referral to see a Physiotherapist at mySydneyPhysio, however if your injury is related to work or an insurance claim you will need a GP referral for Physiotherapy treatment and your claim number.
Payment
Our HICAPS system is available for on the spot processing of your health fund. You will just need to pay the gap in the fee, so please be sure to bring your health fund card.
mySydneyPhysio accepts Cash, EFTPOS, Visa card, Mastercard, and American Express.
Medicare
Medicare may cover patients with complex and chronic conditions for up to 5 physiotherapy sessions per year. Patients must be referred by their GP and require an Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC). Using Medicare Easyclaim at mySydneyPhysio you can lodge your claim and receive your rebate immediately.
